摘要

This research chronicles a series of experimental didactic experiences from April 2019 to April 2023, focusing on integrating advanced digital tools into the teaching and learning of Architectural Preservation and Adaptive Reuse Design. By combining the strengths of Historical Building Integrated Modelling and real-time rendering technology, the study aims to evolve traditional teaching methods to promote student engagement and present a holistic approach to adaptive reuse design. The findings showcase how integrating digital technologies can revolutionise architectural preservation education, not merely as visualisation tools but as immersive digital design environments. Future explorations hinted at leveraging AI and extended reality training, signalling a transformative potential in both pedagogical and professional realms.
