Integrating Digital Transformation: Analyzing New Technological Processes for Competitiveness and Growth Opportunities in the Oman Economy

摘要

This study aims to assess the competitiveness of Oman’s national economy with a focus on public and growth prospects, drawing insights from the competitive landscape of Gulf countries. The main objective of this work is to Assess Oman’s ESG standing, analyze impact on sustainability, and propose strategies for regional leadership, leveraging competitive advantage. The primary goal is to propose strategies for enhancing competitiveness in Oman’s economy. The research identifies distinct clusters, with the UAE standing out (cluster 1) and Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, and Kuwait forming a cluster (cluster 2), while Saudi Arabia constitutes cluster 3. In a two-cluster scenario, the UAE and Saudi Arabia comprise cluster 1, while Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, and Kuwait constitute cluster 2. The findings provide recommendations for enhancing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors in Oman and other Gulf countries.
