Levers of Control Framework and Environmental Strategy

The objective of this study is to conduct a comprehensive examination of the levers of control framework, specifically the belief control system, diagnostic control system, boundary control system, and interactive control system, and their role in facilitating the implementation of environmental strategies within organizations. The aim is to develop a conceptual framework that elucidates the relationship between these control systems and environmental strategies. The present research revisited the existing literature on environmental strategy, emphasizing its significance for organizations and their respective types. Subsequently, the study demonstrated the potential implementation of environmental strategies by using the levers of control framework. The study’s findings indicate that the implementation of environmental initiatives in companies may be facilitated by the use of the levers of control framework. The paper suggests doing an additional empirical investigation to explore the relationship between the levers of control framework and environmental tactics.
