摘要

The present research aims to examine the incorporation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) within the framework of Human Resource Management (HRM) and its subsequent influence on the overall welfare of organizations. A quantitative methodology was used to gather data by means of a survey that evaluated the present condition of integration, commitment from leadership, efficacy of training, efforts related to health and wellbeing, compliance with regulations, and management of risks. The results indicate that there are different degrees of integration seen within firms, highlighting the need of implementing customized methods. The presence of a strong commitment to leadership significantly enhances the overall safety culture. The inclusion of training initiatives within Human Resource Management (HRM) programs has been shown to have a substantial impact on the enhancement of employee knowledge. The convergence of health and wellness efforts with occupational health and safety (OHS) has a beneficial effect on overall well-being. One potential recommendation is to establish standardized protocols for regulatory compliance, ensuring consistent adherence to regulatory requirements across different entities. Another recommendation is to promote the development of coordinated risk management strategies, facilitating the effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks via collaborative efforts among relevant stakeholders. These observations serve to improve worker safety and bolster organizational resilience.
