Convergence of Management and Environmental Control Systems: A Key to Sustainable Organizational Performance in Jordan

This research addresses the convergence of Management Control Systems (MCS) and Environmental Management Control Systems (EMCS), emphasizing their vital significance in encouraging long-term organizational success in Jordan. This study dives into the integration of these systems and their implications for corporate strategy and ethical practices via a thorough assessment of major studies and landmark publications. According to the findings, integrating MCS and EMCS not only improves operational efficiency but also aligns organizational operations with environmental sustainability, which is critical in today’s global corporate context. The research, however, reveals obstacles in the actual use of these integrated systems, particularly in different economic environments such as Jordan, revealing a gap between theoretical frameworks and real-world implementation. The study also emphasizes the relevance of ethical issues in company planning, arguing for a healthy balance between economic objectives and environmental duties. The study’s results add to a better understanding of sustainable business practices, underlining the need for further empirical research in a variety of situations and emphasizing the importance of ethical business behavior in ensuring long-term organizational success.
