Control Structures of Multi-Process Runs

This Chapter investigats the extension of single-agent to multi-agent CONCURRENT COMPUTATIONS. The concept is illustrated by communicating processes (refinements at various levels of abstraction of OCCAM programs and of a web browser running Java Script programs), by an extension of single-agent to concurrent multithreaded computations (JAVA) and in Ch.9 by teams of communicating robots.
