Work-in-Progress: Simulations Incorporated in the Teaching Process of Telecommunications

Information and Communication Technologies involve all sectors of contemporary society. The improvements that these implant in the learning process institute their opportune use. Such is the case of the Matlab/Simulink 8.3 program, which allows simulating the behavior of telecommunication systems, being a program, with a friendly, flexible and intuitive environment and is easy to install and use. In the present work the simulation of a transmission scheme is made that connects two subscribers of the fixed telephony to observe the behavior of the voice signal. This simulation as a didactic means allows students in the learning process to make their own knowledge of the transmission systems during the realization of laboratory practices in the subject of Networks I, of the Plan E of Telecommunications Systems in the career of Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering.
