ERP Systems Recommendations for Critical Decisions Selection

ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) projects are an essential component of the digital era, enabling companies to access the full power of technology and data to drive innovation, growth, and long-term sustainability. ERP systems are being used by businesses to streamline and modernize their processes, making them more nimble, efficient, and competitive. These projects encompass integrating several company activities, such as finance and supply chain management, as well as human resources and customer relationship management, into a single, cohesive digital ecosystem. However, the understanding and implementation of ERP decisions and strategies is a challenging task because of the high cost and risk involved. This work was carried out through an analysis of related articles and qualitative interviews with experts on ERP projects in order to gather opinions about critical decisions and determine the most suitable option. The critical decisions discussed in this paper include technical deployment options and ERP adaptation levels. The research findings are recommendations that can guide ERP practitioners and organizations in their decision-making processes.
