摘要

In an era characterized by technological advancement and the relentless pursuit of innovation, Smart Tourism emerges as a transformative force in the travel industry. This research delves into the intricate dynamics among destination intelligence, the tourist experience, and perceived value within the context of Smart Tourism. It embarks on a quest to provide a comprehensive understanding of not only the multifaceted relationships but also the intrinsic components and variables that constitute these concepts, shedding light on a theoretical gap regarding the makeup of the Smart Tourism experience and implications for the tourism landscape. Through an extensive literature review, our research develops a comprehensive conceptual model that unifies these dimensions within a cohesive framework. This model integrates insights from tourism, marketing, and information systems, identifying key dimensions, variables, and relationships derived from literature reviews. Our study offers valuable insights into Smart Tourism dynamics, shedding light on how destination intelligence influences the tourist experience and shapes perceptions of value. The model overlays the ‘smart’ component onto conventional tourism experiences, encompassing mediating and moderating factors and consequences, such as cognitive, affective, conative, and behavioral outcomes. This succinct model contributes to theoretical understanding and offers practical insights for destination managers. However, we acknowledge the limitation of this paper, rooted in its reliance on systematic reviews rather than being one itself. Additionally, this framework requires subsequent validation in different contexts; thus, it is currently considered a pre-model in its present state.
