Socially Responsible Investment: New Challenges or Same Old Mindset?
摘要
Following the same approach applied to CSR to ensure consistency, this chapter delivers a systematic analysis of socially responsible investment (SRI) using the two-part methodological framework. Similarly, the historical development of SRI is traced noting key events, and an investigation into two identified sceptical positions directed at SRI using the methodological framework plays a central role. The contemporary politicization of the concept is also a dominant theme, and the influence that economic theory and economic methodology has played in the concept’s evolution are likewise fleshed out.
