Phase Transitions and Critical Phenomena
摘要
Transformation of a substance between its solid, liquid, and gaseous forms is a common experience. In this chapter, we study the thermodynamic description of the said transformations called the phenomenon of phase transitions. Introduced also is the concept of the critical phenomenon.
