Tools for Publishing Peer-Reviewed Academic Work: Part II

The previous chapter described strategies for succeeding in publishing peer-reviewed articles when the peer review system functions as it should and provides the early career researcher with constructive feedback on how to improve their work. This chapter reveals that, on occasion, early career researchers might require tools for publishing peer-reviewed articles when they encounter reviewer biases, unnecessarily harsh critiques, and inconsistent feedback from two or more reviewers. As such, this chapter covers strategies for just these kinds of peer review circumstances.
