A Conceptual Framework for Academic Job Talks
摘要
This chapter describes a conceptual framework for selecting and implementing scholarship in an academic job talk. This framework repurposes the storytelling structure of film trilogies to construct coherent, compelling, and persuasive academic job talks. This chapter details the key principles of this framework and their origins in the filmmaking career of Wes Craven. In so doing, this chapter foreshadows the topics covered in Chaps. 13 – 15 .
