Climate Change Assessment
摘要
Vulnerability assessment to climate change is a key aspect to generate knowledge for reducing future climatic risks, strengthening resilience, enhancing well-being and capability of the communities to envision and retorting effectively to the changes. It helps in highlighting sectors that demand particular intervention to frame adaptive resilient plans for threatened communities by analysing their exposure, sensitivity and adaptive capacity. Therefore, this chapter explores the multivarious levels of vulnerability of lives and livelihood of marginal coastal people of the Sundarbans in the present context of changing climate.
