Synthesis, Next Steps, and Epilogue
摘要
As described in throughout this book, intervention effectiveness research, quality improvement activities, and program evaluation concepts may be operationalized based on Problem-Intervention-Outcome Meta-Model (PIO MM) using worksheets and statements, implemented using standard methods, and disseminated to a broad audience through reports, presentations, and publications. This chapter examines the cyclical process of evaluating interventions, changing practice based on that evaluation, and reevaluating again. This is an ongoing, never-ending process because evidence changes, individuals respond in diverse ways to interventions in the real-world, and health care quality must be continually updated. Every project should set the stage for the next study or evaluation.
