Small Cells

If one looks at a sufficiently large simulation of a stationary, isotropic Poisson line process in the plane, one will notice that the very small cells are mostly triangles, but, of course, of varying sizes and orientations. On the other hand, a parallel line process cannot produce any triangles. In this chapter, we investigate stationary Poisson hyperplane processes under the aspect of the shape of small cells.
