Palm Distributions and Related Constructions
摘要
With a stationary hyperplane process one can, in a natural way, associate a series of stationary random measures. These have Palm distributions, which together with their generalizations are introduced in the present chapter. They are used to define several ‘typical’ objects for the description of a stationary Poisson hyperplane process. In particular, the later definition of weigthed k-faces relies on this construction. Palm measures are further used to define, for the mentioned random measures, the reduced second moment measure and, in the isotropic case, the pair-correlation function.
