Two Classes of Signaling Games: Reputation and Information Privacy Games
摘要
In the previous chapter, we introduced and analyzed Nash and Stackelberg equilibria of signaling games where the agents have misaligned objectives or subjective priors where the foci was on quadratic cost criteria. In this chapter we will study further, and operationally and practically important, settings involving reputation management and privacy in communications involving agents connected over information channels. In such applications the objective functions of the agents are misaligned. The chapter has two main sections, devoted to reputation and privacy issues, both within the framework of signaling games.
