Introduction
摘要
The interaction between information and decision or control is a phenomenon that arises in every decision and control problem. Any performance-driven controller requires information on the unknowns that affect the operation of the underlying system. The quality of the relevant information itself is typically affected by the choice of the control actions in a closed-loop dynamical system. Furthermore, the shaping of measurement signals via coding/signaling can itself be viewed as a control problem where an encoder controls the information available at a decoder.
