Richard Feynman (winner of the 1965 Nobel Prize in Physics) gave a speech at the American Physical Society meeting on December 29, 1959, titled “ There’s Plenty of Room at the Bottom ” at the California Institute of Technology (CalTech) upon which the whole discussion on the topic of nanotechnology started.
