On Reversibility

We had left the development of the Control Theory at the time when the fundamental contributions of Ragazzini and his disciples were produced, and we have delved into sampling, the basis for digital control, for a while. The other path was opened by Rudolf Kalman and constitutes what has been called Modern Theory of Control, the one based on representation in the State Space.
