Economic Assessment of Outsourcing of Intellectual and Information Technologies

The efficient operation of industrial enterprises is impossible without digitalization of production processes. The methodological essence of intellectual and information technologies, the definition of which is proposed to be introduced into scientific circulation, is substantiated. The authors include such information technologies, which include an intellectual component that requires legal protection and protection of exclusive rights to use it. Methodological bases of economic assessment of outsourcing of intellectual and information technologies in industrial enterprises have been developed. It is proposed to determine the effectiveness of the use of IT outsourcing using the graph-analytical method, the essence of which is to provide a graphical comparative analysis and analytical justification of the effectiveness of decisions on IT outsourcing and the implementation of IT functions by the company’s own forces. The proposed methods of economic evaluation of IT outsourcing were tested on the example of enterprises in the Kharkiv industrial region.
