Autonomation, Automation, AI, and Industry-Agriculture 5.0 in Sustainable Agro-Ecological Food Production
摘要
The agricultural industry is undergoing a significant transformation due to the integration of advanced technologies, including autonomation, automation, artificial intelligence, and the principles of Industry-Agriculture 5.0. This transformation is driven by the growing need for sustainable food production in response to the factors like population growth, climate change, and environmental degradation. Autonomation combines automation, robotics, drones, smart machinery, and AI to enhance agricultural processes, improving efficiency and reducing resource consumption through data-driven decision-making and precision farming practices. Industry-Agriculture 5.0 emphasizes human-machine collaboration, creating a cooperative relationship between humans and smart machines. This universal approach maximizes productivity while minimizing environmental impact. Case studies from different regions demonstrate the successful implementation of these technologies, resulting in improved crop yields, resource efficiency, and reduced environmental footprints. However, the adoption of these technologies brings challenges such as data privacy, cybersecurity, and access to technology for small-scale farmers. Striking a balance between technological advancement and ethical, environmental, and societal considerations is crucial for realizing a more sustainable and resilient agricultural future. This work recognizes the transdisciplinary nature of the problem, encompassing not only technological aspects but also economic, social, legislative, logistical, environmental, and smart city considerations. It aims to promote productive innovation and emphasizes the importance of understanding the interconnection of these facets for comprehensive agricultural development.
