Mathematical Modeling and Calculation of the Basic Characteristics of a Complex Antenna Array

The work carried out mathematical modelling of the main characteristics of antenna systems for satellite communications. It was revealed that this antenna array with a transmitter of 85 dBWt is guaranteed to solve the target problem of providing mobile satellite communications with both one global beam and a plurality of beams with a width of 0.7 × 0.7°. It should be added that the advantage of forming multiple beams compared to a global beam with a single phased antenna array is: higher data rate, relatively low requirements for antenna systems of ground stations, greater noise immunity of the radio link, the ability to dynamically control the signal power in each beam.
