A New Approach to Modeling and Synthesis of a Digital Antenna Array Operating in the Microwave Range

According to the provisions of the method of indefinite Lagrange multipliers, the synthesis of antenna arrays was carried out. According to the results of cyclic multiple adjustment of the grid current distribution that satisfies the synthesis criterion used. Thus, the joint application of analytical and numerical methods of electrodynamic modeling of antenna systems on bearing sur-faces makes it possible to find their realistically achievable characteristics and design parameters with a rational distribution of computational costs. The results obtained make it possible to successfully solve applied problems of development and design of antenna systems intended for use as part of mobile radio-electronic complexes. Directions for further research are related to the construction of complex numerical-analytical models of antenna arrays on metal-dielectric cylinders, which can rep-resent sections of the bearing sur-faces of aircraft with reduced radar visibility. To improve the accuracy of antenna calculation by the method of physical optics, it is proposed to use the method multiple reflections between the counter-reflector and the reflector, which takes into account the contribution of secondary currents on reflectors to the formation of the resulting antenna patterns.
