Development of Information Processes as a Prerequisite for the Sustainable Development of Agricultural Enterprises

There are results of the study of the prerequisites and features of the processes of informatization of agricultural enterprises in the article. We have studied the essence, and main components of the digital economy and the prospects of the digital transformation of agriculture. The priority factors that determine the specificity of the digital transformation of agriculture and determine the directions of informatization of the agricultural production system have been elaborated. We have established the informatization on the agricultural sector. It is characterized by fragmentation, which causes differentiation in the level of use of information technologies by both individual agrarian enterprises and branches of agriculture, and information technologies that are successfully used in agriculture to ensure digitalization are given. We have analyzed the main elements of digitalization, and an organizational and economic mechanism for the development of agricultural enterprises was proposed based on it. This ensures a synergistic effect of the informatization of commodity producers on the growth of the efficiency of the agricultural sector of the country's economy. In addition, it helps to overcome the digital gap between agriculture and high-tech sectors of the economy and contributes to the revival of rural areas and sustainable development of agricultural enterprises.
