Blood Bank Management System with Mobile Application in Egypt

An application entitled the Blood Bank Management System is used to store, retrieve, process, and analyze data related to managing blood banks. Blood bank in Egypt needs a systematic and integrated blood bank management system. Now, the blood banks are either independent or limited to being incorporated inside their own network of hospitals. Blood is an important medical resource that has been connected to saving patients’ lives in cases of bleeding disorders, accidents, surgeries, complications from pregnancy, and cancer. The presented work aimed to design, develop, and implement a web-based mobile application called Online Blood Donation Management System that allows contact between blood donors and neighboring hospitals that are in immediate need of blood transfusions. The proposed system will save time by preventing the need to visit hospitals and fill out blood donation paperwork, and the requested hospital can quickly discover the closest blood donors by notification message given to donor. Designing a simple mobile application easy to use with demo show how the donor can register with the app. When a blood donor has a simple and suitable platform for registering and donating blood, it makes it easier for many people who wish to donate blood but are unable to due to their busy lives. It saves time with no complications.
