Photosynthesis and the Confusing Array of Methodologies
摘要
This chapter explores the techniques for measuring photosynthesis and why different methods may yield very different results, what each method measures and their relationships to growth. A review of the basic principles and instruments for fluorescent measurements is provided, focusing on PAM fluorometry, and how these instruments can provide measures not just of photochemistry, but also of non-photochemical quenching and energy dissipation.
