Factors Influencing the Adoption of e-Services in Oman’s Higher Education Sector
摘要
Oman’s higher education sector is integrating e-services to provide a quality education that meets student needs, enhancing service delivery and satisfaction. However, deficient application interfaces and navigation hinder e-service adoption. This study aims to propose an adoption model. Hence, the objective of this study is to propose a model for the factors influencing the adoption of e-services in Oman’s Higher Education Sector. Therefore, the study reviews literature, using positivist research, descriptive analysis, and deductive reasoning. Probability sampling and G*Power statistics determine the suitable sample size. The study’s outcome is a conceptual model illustrating factors influencing e-service adoption in Oman’s higher education, drawing from Information System Success Theory (ISST) and Technology Adoption Model (TAM). Anticipated influencers include system quality, information quality, and service quality, along with service transparency, service usefulness, service ease of use, and student satisfaction. Implications for E-Oman service adoption are both practical and theoretical.
