摘要

The rise of remote work has led to the emergence of “workcation,” prompting this study to investigate the symbiotic relationship between workcation and the paradigm of smart tourism. This paper aims to illuminate the intricate relations between employee well-being, performance, and engagement within the context of “workcation.” The study employs a cross-sectional research design to explore the interplay from a diverse sample of 250 employees working at different organizational levels employing stratified random sampling. Data was gathered through an online self-administered survey, encompassing sections related to demographic information, experiences with workcations, well-being, performance metrics, and engagement. Statistical analysis involved descriptive statistics to summarize demographics and survey responses, while regression analysis was conducted to explore the relationships between independent and dependent variables. Through a comprehensive analysis of existing literature and empirical data, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of the implications of workcation concept.
