Application of Artificial Intelligence Methods in Profiling Computer Network Users

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) techniques in the field of IT security is becoming increasingly common. Taking into account the capabilities of convolutional networks in the field of analysis of large data sets described in previous sections, it is a natural approach. Soft computing algorithms offer new possibilities to detect, analyze and prevent various types of threats and cyber attacks. In this chapter, we will present proprietary solutions based on computational intelligence techniques for profiling computer network users. Building such profiles and algorithms that allow to search for anomalies on their basis can significantly contribute to improving network security.
