Numerical Calculation of Energy Spectrum of GaAs-AlGaAs Quantum Well Having Abrupt Potential Steps Using Regula Falsi Method
摘要
This chapter contains numerical calculation of energy spectrum of GaAs-AlGaAs Quantum Well having abrupt potential steps. Parametric variations of the energy spectrum are depicted graphically as well as using tabulated values. Two transcendental equations derived using admissibility conditions on eigenfunctions have been solved using regula falsi method in this regard. The admissibility conditions and the regula falsi method are introduced in advance.
