An Efficient Image Compression Algorithm Using Neural Networks

Images occupy more memory space because they are made up of a lot of data. Less storage space and transmission time are needed for compressed images. Deep convolution neural network (CNN), which has lately revived the neural network, has achieved significant success in the fields of artificial intelligence, image processing, and signal processing. Here, we provide a systematic, thorough, and modest analysis of deep neural network-boosted image compression methods in this paper. Images are used to advance and expand compression techniques based on the operation of neural networks. Reviewing end-to-end neural network-based frames in particular shows studies of architectures for subsequent-generation picture coding and related applications. The utmost significant findings are emphasized, and upcoming prospects in picture reduction and enhancement employing cutting-edge neural networks are even fully identified.
