Color States of \(q \bar{q}\) , qg and qqq Systems

We systematically apply the tensor method described in Chap.  3 for a pair of quarks to find the irreps of a few other simple systems: \(q \bar{q}\) , qg, and the qqq system. The latter is the simplest system for which the number of irreps is smaller than the number of independent tensors mapping the parton system color space, thus providing a simple illustration of transition operators between equivalent irreps.
