Rehabilitative interventions play a crucial role in the care of patients who have undergone Hematopoietic Stem Cell TransplantationHematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) (HSCT), and a multidisciplinary rehabilitationMultidisciplinary rehabilitation program can help manage psychological challenges, improve physical and functional abilities and overall Quality Of LifeQuality Of Life (QOL) in phases of HSCT's patients’ treatment that associated with the transplant process. Historically, long-term Cardiovascular DiseaseCardiovascular disease (CVD) and CVD risk factors such as Myocardial Infarction (MI), Heart FailureHeart failure (HF), and arrhythmias, are a major cause of morbidity and mortality among HSCTHematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) survivors; CardiotoxicityCardiotoxicity has been associated with chemotherapeutic agents used as part of primary treatment or preparative regimens in addition to cardiovascular issues related to HSCT.
