Pericardial diseases are common in cancerCancer patients, which can be caused by underlying cancer or cancer treatments (e.g. chemotherapy, radiationRadiation therapy, and hematopoietic stem cell transplantationHematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT)). The most common pericardial diseases are pericardial effusionPericardial effusion, pericarditis and constrictive pericarditisPericarditis and constrictive pericarditis. In this chapter, we examine pericardial diseases in patients who underwentHematopoietic stem cell transplantation hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) (Pieri et al., in Eur Heart J Case Rep, 2020; Hoit, in Cardiol Clin 35:481–490, 2017).
