摘要

The chapter discusses neuropsychological interventions to improve attention in children and adolescents. These interventions involve an integrated approach that considers psychological, environmental, and physiological factors, in addition to neuropsychological aspects. Psychoeducation is an important strategy, providing information about the different aspects of attention and its properties. Self-monitoring of attention and performance, both by the individual and the teacher, can be used to improve self-regulation. Behavioral strategies such as problem-solving techniques, reward systems, and self-instruction training are also effective and can be used to improve attention. Collaboration with the family is key to establishing routines and providing adequate support for the child or adolescent.
