Designing an Algorithm for Recognizing the Kazakh-Latin Alphabet in an Image

This paper presents and investigates a new algorithm for recognition of the Kazakh-Latin alphabet in an image using convolutional neural network. Alphabet recognition in images is an important task in the field of computer vision and image processing, especially for languages with special characters and graphic features, such as the Kazakh-Latin alphabet. The aim of the research was to develop an efficient algorithm capable of automatically recognizing the characters of the Kazakh-Latin alphabet in images and representing them in text format. The paper proposed a new approach based on the use of deep convolutional neural networks. #COMESYSO1120.
