Electronic Instrument Group

Our understanding of electricity was generally developed during the mid to late nineteenth century. Similarly, electronic measurements of instrument spectra gave us information on the harmonic and mode structure of instruments. Together, this eventually led to the development of electronic instruments, which were either upgrades or simulations of existing instruments. Further evolution occurred with the synthesis of unique sounds to accompany musical pieces.
