This article provides information on the general, circuit diagrams, and fundamentals of a wireless charging system, and provides information on wireless charging technologies for inductive coupling, magnetic resonance coupling, and radiofrequency/microwave propagation, from fundamental understanding to specific applications. Also, on the basis of the conducted research, detailed information is provided on the developed wireless charging technology or a device for wireless transmission of electrical energy, which is widely used in practice.
