Design an Efficient Electrochemical System for Treatment Oil-Polluted Waters
摘要
From an environmental point of view, the most significant sources of water pollution with oil products are oil extraction, transportation, processing and recycling organizations, and automotive enterprises. Oil products can be viewed as surfactants and suspended substances in industrial wastewater. The cleaning effectiveness of oil-containing wastewaters by existing electrochemical methods using coagulation and flotation processes does not meet the current requirement and norms. This paper is considered a design and investigation of a 2-stages cascade model involving electromechanical (electrocoagulation and electro-flotation) and filtering processes for cleaning the polluted water from oil products.
