Development and Optimization of Digital Twin Model for the Deethanizer Distillation Unit
摘要
This paper provides result of research related to modelling of distillation columns based on example typical Deethanizer. Modelling is focused on development of projection of digital twin mostly designated for further simulation and training purposes but also applicable to be used for advanced calculations of different operation modes, heat, and material balances. Developed digital twin model is based on mathematical modeling of real processes, which describes technological processes in detail by differential equations of energy transfer, material balance, hydraulics, and physical-chemical kinetics inside rectification column. Results of investigation already proven in real process plant and can be used for development of appropriate computerized operators training system for this plant.
