Intelligent Glass Production Process Control System

An intelligent approach to the issue of developing an APC system for better (advanced) control of the technological process of glass melting in glass melting furnaces that allows for accounting for the component composition of raw materials, humidity and temperature of the finished charge and cullet, as well as evaluating the efficient use of surplus natural raw materials, such as quartz sand, and allowing for on this basis, adjusting the supply of raw materials to the furnace. The implementation of an intelligent fuzzy control system for the glass melting process is presented. It includes a feedback loop with an electronic control system that continuously monitors and controls pressure. The combustion of fuel in gas-burning furnaces is an example of how an intelligent fuzzy control system is used. Discussed are the findings from a comparison of the effectiveness of process regulation by a control system using a traditional PID controller and a synthesized fuzzy control system.
