Toward the Integration of Human Factors into Social Holonic Control Architectures

In contemporary human system integration, human factors play a crucial role in understanding and optimizing the performance of complex systems. Various approaches are emerging, including social control architecture which introduces a social dimension to improve the integration of the human element in manufacturing systems. This approach is hindered by the lack of adequate integration of the various internal human factors that have a significant impact on system performance and safety. In this context, our work introduces a tool that simplifies the mapping of human factors in their respective contexts; this enables one to identify and prioritize the most relevant human factors for in-depth analysis. The final goal is to integrate these factors into the holonic social framework and address the scheduling issues.
