A Research on Factors Influencing the Survival of Small Businesses: Focusing on Franchise Convenience Stores
摘要
As of 2020, South Korea had a notably high rate of self-employment, especially in the franchise convenience store sector. A study focusing on Seoul’s major commercial districts used statistical methods to analyze factors affecting the survival of these stores. Key findings indicated that store visibility (number of facing roads), location (proximity to bus stops), and financial aspects (sales revenue and average customer spending) significantly influence the longevity of franchise convenience stores.
