Introduction to Enterprise Engineering

Because of their increasing complexities, modern societies have an urgent need for the discipline of Enterprise Engineering. Despite their age, the ideas of Frederic Taylor still determine the mindset of managers: a machine-like understanding of organisations still dominates managerial practice. The discipline of Enterprise Engineering offers three general goals: intellectual manageability, organisational concinnity and social devotion. They are brought about by the thoughtful application of Enterprise Ontology, Enterprise Design and Enterprise Governance, respectively.
