Exercise: Case Library

The case Library is an exercise in producing the essential model of an enterprise that offers the obtaining of usufruct of tangible things (borrowing books) and the creating of intangible things (starting and ending memberships). By applying the OER method to the narrative case description, the information is achieved on the basis of which the essential model is produced. The essential model is a stable beacon when discussing the impacts of alternative ways of implementing it. Far-reaching changes in the operational activities appear to have no or little impact on the essential model because they mainly regard implementation matters. Special attention is given to showing how revocations can be indicated in the process structure diagram.
