摘要

The humanization process of the statues of the prophets of Aleijadinho consisted of transforming the body measurements of these 12 soapstone sculptures into male measurements by applying contents of ratio, proportion, and scale through the elaboration of ethnomodels during the ethnomodelling process. In addition to the humanization process, four methodological instruments were applied: questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, focus groups, and the field diary, which were used for data collection with 12 participants who are knowledgeable about the history and works of Aleijadinho. An adaptation of the grounded theory was used to analyze collected data, in which results showed that there is a dialogic relation between the concepts of ratio, proportion, and scale and the humanization process of the 12 prophets of Aleijadinho.
