摘要

Mathematical modelling and experimentation are central processes in the scientific development and teaching of mathematics and physics. However, elucidating the relationships between these disciplines and these processes remains challenging for teaching and educational research. This chapter delves into the relationships that students can establish between the two disciplines when modelling and experimentation are integrated in the classroom. Therefore, an extracurricular workshop conducted with 83 high school students from a public secondary school was developed. Different sources of data were examined through content analysis. The results show that students can establish nominal, application and complementarity relationships, but they also have difficulties in doing so.
