Impact Pathway for Local Seed Systems Adapting to ‘People-Led Development’ Process in Dryland Areas of Odisha, India

Recognising the detrimental failures of the widely propagated agri-practices among the AdivasiAdivasi communitiesCommunity of Odisha, the author presents a case of a CSO that revitalised the communitiesCommunity through an effective exploration and adoption of the existing traditional knowledge systems. The author employs a series of Participatory Rural Appraisal exercises between the period 2012−2022 and captures the impact of the intervention of the organisation and its practices on the localLocal system.
